media valle del serchio is a wonderful area of northwestern tuscany, italy. in this marvellous setting we have recently restored a farmhouse and a cottage, all are located on a hill at 450 m. asl, in a nice secluded place, on the edge of a hamlet, near bagni di lucca, a lovely spa-town at 25 km from lucca, 50 km from pisa and 85 km from florence. cesa al numero 3 (140 m2) and cësa al numero 4 (105 m2) are the two halves of our xviii century countryhouse. il castello (45 m2) is our lovely cottage at only 20 m from the main house. il gioiello is our "jewel" available only for photoshootings. they can be rented separately or together.

beautifully restored half of a countryhouse on the edge of guzzano, a lovely hamlet of the lucca area, at 5 km from the spa town bagni di lucca. cesa al numero 3 is the largest of our holiday houses. it comprises three levels plus a basement, is about 140 m2 and can accomodate up to 6 persons. on the ground floor, a living room with a fireplace, a bright kitchen and a balcony provided with garden furniture, which offers stunning views over the wonderful surrounding nature. on the 1st floor there are two nicely furnished bedrooms each with original double beds. the top floor comprises a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. in the basement there is another bathroom with shower and our pretty cellar with table for 8 people. outside, you cand spend your spare time in our large garden completely fenced (1000 m2), on the exclusive backyard, equipped with garden furniture, or use our wood-burning oven to cook delicious pizzas, roast chicken, etc. in our holiday house you will find as well: books, tourist brochures.

Bagni di Lucca - lucca - toscana
le nostre sistemazioni si trovano ai margini di guzzano un piccolo paese nei pressi di bagni di lucca. l alimentari più vicino è a soli 2 km (tratto pecorribile anche a piedi) o a bagni di lucca (5 km).
il nostro vicino è un agricoltore e presso di lui potrete acquistare uova latte burro ricotta formaggio alle noci/pepe verdura di stagione.
il nostro paesino è meta di un turismo prevalentemente proveniente dal nord europa che lo rende piacevolmente cosmopolita. alcuni turisti inglesi vi hanno addirittura acquistato la loro casa seguendo una lunga tradizione che risale al xixesimo secolo quando poeti e artisti inglesi come i brownings erano letteralmente rapiti da questi luoghi. dalla nostra sistemazione potete raggiungere bagni di lucca in un ora con una piacevole passeggiata in mezzo ai boschi. oppure esplorare le foreste nei dintorni in cerca di una chiesa dimenticata.

bagni di lucca si trova a circa 5 km. dalle nostre sistemazioni. e una ridente cittadina in cui troverete ristoranti negozi impianti sportivi (piscina pubblica campi da tennis supermarket farmacia etc.) e un noto centro termale che conobbe nel xviii e xix.esimo secolo il periodo di massimo splendore con ospiti illustri come byron shelley puccini metternich e radestsky. tracce di questo glorioso passato sono anche i numerosi monumenti: la chiesa inglese il ponte delle catene le terme le ville etc. bagni di lucca ospita anche un casinò che è stato la prima casa da gioco aperta in europa. negli ultimi anni è stato riportato all antico splendore e oggi è utilizzato con i suoi splendidi interni come location per feste. dall agosto 2009 ospita un casinò con roulette e black jack elettronici. a bagni di lucca e dintorni ci sono varie trattorie dove potrete assaggiare le specialità del luogo che si basano su ingredienti semplici come funghi castagne salsicce etc. i giorni di mercato sono il mercoledì e il sabato mattina a bagni di lucca.
